CORRUPTION AND ECONOMIC RATIONALITY IN IBAGUÉ

Abstract

The present research project analyzed the rational behavior of the Ibaguereños, in particular the rules that explain the behavior of the Ibaguereños in the decision-making in social scenarios, and in particular economic decisions under circumstances of corruption, the methodology used to analyze the economic rationality of corruption is the theory of games, based on the game of bribery and the balance of Nash. The research was conducted in the first half of 2019 and investigated in different social classes, genders and age ranges.
